On saturday, we went to the Brown's park christmas party. Browns park is a hour and a half northwest of craig. Browns park is a very small community mainly populated by government employees and a couple of large ranches. Historically, Browns park was an outlaw hideout, frequented by Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch which is why Dave was very excited to take our family to see this country. The christmas party was held in the old Ladore school house which was built in 1911. It was fun to go to Browns park and see where the outlaws hide out and raised a little hell. Emma Jane was excited to see santa and to let him know that she still wants that train.

I had to tell santa what I wanted for christmas too.

Brooke and Emma with all the kids telling santa goodbye and telling him there last christmas wishes

First weekend in December

Well we went to Salt Lake for Amber's baptism, I have never been to a stake baptism so that was a new experience but a postive one at that. That night Paul and his family came down to Marylou's so we went to go see the lights down on Temple Square. I think this is one of my favorite things to do at christmas time.

David, Al and Emma Jane hanging out trying to stay warm as we walked around looking at the lights and taking pictures.

The Gines checking out the old tabernacle, and stopping for a photo.
