The DNCFR was fun as always. Chillin at the rodeo
The big day Brooke finally got her spacer out. Woo Hoo! She has had it in since October when the roof of her mouth was 28 millimeters, well below average. We stretched her mouth every night with a special key for 30 days and then it has to just stay in her mouth for three months. Then we went back into the orthodontist and he measured her mouth 40.5. Just where it should be, so now it is out and the retainer will go in two weeks from now. When she first got it out she couldn't quite talk, but she has since jumped over that hurdle with leaps and bounds. Still no word on my braces though so much for 4-6 months I think I am close though but who knows. Good news we all went to the dentist on the 26th and no cavities all around, Woo Hoo! Emma Jane likes the glasses they put on you and Brooke likes being in control of the water and the vacuum.
Emma is the big "5" now with her new look (bangs) and all, we had a small party at our house after having a big one at Grandma Gine's house. She loved all of her gifts and had a great time with her cousins. I would show you the pictures but we left that camera at grandma's house.

Nascar in Las Vegas

So it has been awhile since my last blog and we have had a couple of busy weekends. I am going to have to do a couple of blogs to update you on everything. First things first we went to Las Vegas Feb. 28 to March 4 for Nascar. Our first night there though we did have tickets for Phantom of the Opera. I must say seeing this for the 3rd time it was still as good as ever! The first time was in New York and that was an experience all in its self, then I saw it in Salt Lake City, still great and lastly Vegas. There is defiantly something to be said about Vegas. When they do it, they definatly do it bigger and better. The theater was awesome. The ocherstra pit was amazing and the special effects, need I say more. Then it was off to three fun filled days of Nascar. For the first time ever they brought the "haulers" down the strip for everyone to see, this one is Dale Earnhardt Jr's haulerOk so I am a Stewart fan(shown below). Although he drives a Toyota I still cheer for him. Al cheers for Carl Edwards who drives first of all a Ford, and second it is painted red. This turned out to be a wise choice because after AL picked him, he won two races in a row. He also does a back flip off of his car when he wins. He did win Vegas and we do have a picture of the flip. Emma Jane is a Jimmie Johnson fan for whatever reason her little head chose. Dave and Brooke are undeclared as long as it is not a toyota or a Busch brother, I think he cheers for them.
This is Kasey Kahne. A lot of people think he is a hottie, he drives the 9 car. I think he is the only driver that Dave saw in the pit that is why he took his pic. who knows?

As previosly stated everything is bigger in Vegas and what would a flyby be without the Thunderbirds? Carl Edwards doin' his flip
That's Vegas now I just have to update the other stuff and we are good to go.
